Flash Banner research.

For unit 7 I'm going to work on flash banners.

I found an example on Amazon, which is promoting the upcoming Mother's day with offers and gift ideas. There are 5 pictures in total and all of them are different as the purpose is to show as many different things as possible, such as mother's day gift. This banner doesn't have any sound or visual effects, there is a transition which changes the images or you can use left/right arrow buttons to change slide.

Another example I found is on Panasonic website. Panasonic is a big brand which produces lots and lots of electronic items. Its banner contains different images promoting different products and events, such as the latest Photography Show in Birmingham. The fonts are quite big and straight forward so they can attract people's eyes('Experience style/ Think Again'). There is a space bar under each image where you can select what interest you and again arrows to browse the images. Also as it replays the images continuously, there is also a button to stop it. In each image there is a button that links to a connected page to get more information about a product.

And yet a third example is from Cineworld. The banner for this website is really easy, it shows posters of the latest movies at the cinema, under each poster you can find some bullet points to change images and yet again arrows for left and right. In each post you can find a button to book tickets for that movie, clicking on it, it will send you to another web page to buy the tickets. Also, this banner shows current promotions like the 'unlimited card' and again an idea for Mother's Day.
