Filming
This was the coolest thing ever! As first time on filming something more elaborated it went really well. Though I didn't like the locations chosen by the PA students, I think my classmates and me were able to manage it. I didn't like it because you have to be lucky to have a nice sunny day in London, as dark grey clouds give the image bad colors and by the way it's always changing. In a couple of minutes the sky changed from be brightly and sunny to sad clouds. The park for me was a big NO.

The other location I didn't like at all was the Green Screen. The Green Screen is pretty cool to use, you can change the background and put whatever you like, but for me that's something that you do when you don't have any space where to go and film. Since the beginning, the P.A students wanted to keep the green background which with their clothes looked awful.

The rest was okay, I liked the blue wall, although we had some problems with the lights(as for the green screen) the car park was a nice idea.
I was a bit disappointed about the performances. Some of the guys weren't showing any emotions which you can notice in the video and for me that ruined it a bit.

The main equipment we used were: Reflex Canon 700D, two different lenses, tripod and wheel.
In three days we had to record all the music video. I had to shoot medium/close up
shots, using the wheel. That was quite hard because I had to be sure that the image was focused and also I had to pay attention on balancing the camera.

Then in some locations, such as tv studio, car park and theatre, we had to use also some lights, because of the green screen and the shadows.

Editing
The editing was the hardest part. I had so many videos and I had no idea where to start from as the song starts with an intro and we hadn't decided anything with all the big group about what to put for it. However I divided the clips into three folders, so that it would have been easier to find the clip I wanted. I edited my video using Adobe Premiere.

I decided then that I could use these clips as intro of my video to show the relationships of the song. I added a white background to get rid of that terrible green, even though I choked it, you can see the reflection of the green wall.

I tried to keep the video simple as the music videos I researched earlier, by using close ups and waving of the camera.

To give it something different I then cut some clips to realize frames like the ones below.
For the chorus in couples I changed the green screen to a white and red screen. Although the dancers were wearing red, I think that the background fitted well with it.

As it looked too plain to me, I then added a few sentences of the lyrics where the green screen showed up.
To add the lyrics I just used the text from Premiere as After Effects didn't work on my computer. This part of the chorus is repeated twice in the video, as I wasn't quite sure about what to put the second time.

The best part of the video for me is the solo guitar. I overlapped the two videos so that the viewer can think the twos dancing is just a memory the guy has while playing the guitar.
So I removed the green screen and added a white background and then I tried to make the video quite transparent giving it a BW filter, while for the background I added up some contrast so that it could be more visible.

As earlier, on a long shot, I added a close up showing the emotions. I cropped and resized the overlapped clip, added a fade filter for the edges and a BW filter.
As final bit, I finished with the theatre shots.
To get that kind of effect, I overlapped twice the same clip and then I added a motion filter. Then I added a swirl to the end of the chorus so that it could change to the couple chorus.
At the end of the video I added the name of the song which I created myself using PS, the credits and my logo.

The making of the video was really fun and I enjoyed it, while the editing was a bit harder just because I didn't really like the locations. My video came out really simple as anyway I wanted it to be. If I had more time I would probably add more effects to each clip and probably I would film again some parts.
