Green Ballon.

The purpose of this short movie was to use different angles from different views, and to have a goal with the green ballon used as prop. Sliding the gallery below you can see the equipment I used and the Shots sheet that I had to follow to make the movie.
making
My prop was a green ballon. It was green as I could have changed it in whatever I wanted once I edited it, so I decided it would have turned out into a rose. As always, I used a Canon 700D and this time I was back to the tripod. I was filming in King's George park, right next to the college and the day was good enough to shot the video with natural light. After fixing up the WB, I started to film.
The picture on the left hand side shows the series of shots I had to take and how the character was supposed to act. It was quite difficult for my character as she had to stay still in her position, while the camera was moving up and down and around her. The only thing she could do was moving her arms. So because of her staying still, even this time it was hard to create a proper story.
Editing
I think that if the shooting has a good pre-production and continuous story, then the editing is easier. Even this time, it was hard to edit it because it doesn't have a logical sense, and in most of the clips my character is so still that it doesn't even look like a video. I also didn't finish to film all the shots in the list, however I got enough to put them onto a video.
As it doesn't have a continuous storyline, I just put the clips in order of filming. I put then some dissolve effect at the end of every clip and I changed a bit the colors. The green ballon didn't work as we expected. I tried to use 'ultra key', on Premiere, but the ballon wasn't bright enough to change the shape of it.
